Frequently Asked Questions

What impact will it have on our power bill by switching to energy efficient windows?

Originating in 1992, with help from ENERGY STAR®, American families and businesses saved $297 billion on utility bills and prevented more than 2.1 billion metric tons of greenhouse gas emissions by 2013. All Pella® products meet or exceed ENERGY STAR certification in all 50 states and most of Canada. What impact will this have on you? Not only might your notice a decrease with your heating and cooling charges, you can help protect the environment.

How much will my replacement door or replacement windows project cost?

Our windows and doors are specifically designed and custom-made for your home, meaning no two projects are the same. Our large variety of products make it nearly impossible to discuss pricing without first bearing in mind your wants and needs and the project results you envision. Due to this nature, we find it mutually beneficially to send out a Pella sales representative who can provide you with a quoted project price upon seeing the project site itself. To accelerate the quoting process, your Pella® sales representative is prepared with a computer and a portable printer so that they’ll have all the quote information you’ll need—just as soon as the sales representative has a chance to consider the requirements of the task and brings them to life with your vision.

In addition to offering a broad range of first-rate products to select from, we also have a generous offering of payment and finance options. Pella is uniquely-suited to offer you fantastic window and door products at affordable prices, providing you with a chance to make the upgrades you want to while building great value into your Haverhill area home as you do it.

What should I use to clean my glass windows?

We suggest that you should use a prepackaged vinegar-based cleaning solution or use an ammonia free glass cleaner such as Windex or Sparkle. You can also mix your own with one part vinegar to ten parts water. Apply the solution to a soft, clean microfiber cloth or paper towel. We do not suggest using glass cleaners that are ammonia- or alcohol-based because they could form streaks or create a film that attracts moisture and dust.

Do Pella® employees actually install your replacement windows and doors?

Pella uses dependable installers who are certified to install Pella windows and doors. They must complete a rigid set of training courses so that your windows and doors are installed properly and meet Pella’s strict warranty standards. We seek out the best Haverhill-local people and recruit them to install our projects. Prior to beginning our relationship, Pella requires them to pass a drug test and background check. Our installers are fully protected by liability and workers compensation insurance. Aside from Pella product warranties, your installation is also covered for 10 years under the installation limited warranty and service agreement.

What's different about buying replacement windows and doors from local Pella® showrooms versus buying from retailers like Lowe’s?

Your local Pella branch provides services and support that “big box” stores can’t provide. Our experts are highly-trained in selling, installing, and servicing Pella Windows & Doors. Working with a dedicated Pella sales team, project manager, local service technicians, and expert installers means that you will have the knowledge of our whole team. We frequently use the term “single source accountability”, meaning that there’s no one to chase down regarding a product, installation, or warranty issue. You can easily contact your sales representative or our main office if you have any concerns and we will get to work resolving the issue.

Why is Pella® the right choice for my home?

There are many reasons why Haverhill homeowners pick Pella for their replacement window and door needs. Founded in 1925, Pella is privately-held. Our success depends upon customer satisfaction, not stock prices. All of our high quality windows and doors are produced with care and serviced by Pella’s unique Direct Sales Network. Unlike most other window and door companies who sell exclusively through third-party channels, Pella has dedicated window and entry door showrooms the U.S. and Canada. This unique way of operating our business gives Pella clients in Haverhill a highly personal experience with the support of a local to Haverhill, Pella-certified team. Whether you are looking for the beauty of wood, the strength of fiberglass, or the low maintenance of vinyl—Pella has a high quality, energy efficient and durable solution.
